VILLA NOVAN
   The early Iron Age of Etruria, dating from approximately 950 to 750 BC (using adjustments of dendrochronology to traditional dates). The phase is principally characterized by cremation burial, the use of impasto pottery, particularly the biconical urn, and incised geometrical decoration.
